Educational use

Nubala is an educational reference of historical biographies. Content summarizes scholarly and public educational sources and may be simplified for readability. Dates and details of medieval lives are sometimes uncertain or disputed; where sources disagree we follow the most widely cited account.

No warranty

The content is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

Premium and payments

Premium unlocks additional study features. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; lifetime is a one-time purchase. Payments are handled by RevenueCat and Stripe and are subject to their terms. You can cancel anytime via the link in your receipt email. Access is tied to the browser you purchased in and can be moved with your access code via Restore access.

Refunds

Not happy with a purchase? Email [email protected] within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:

• the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
• your access code, shown on the Premium page while you are signed in on the browser you purchased from
• roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime)
• the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy

That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or redistribute the content as your own. We may update these terms as the product evolves.
